Roanoke Valley Chamber takes the Legislative Agenda to Raleigh

The Roanoke Valley Chamber of Commerce will travel to Raleigh to meet with legislators and elected officials to discuss the Valley’s most pressing issues in Raleigh on March 6.  Chamber members will meet with the local legislators and discuss issues ranging from transportation to health care. Lunch will be served in the Cafeteria of the General Assembly. The local delegation is invited to a lunch at the General Assembly dining room. Hear presentations from Insurance Commissioner Jim Long, Commissioner of Agriculture Steve Troxler, Dan Devine of NCDOT, Doug Byrd with the NC Department of Commerce, Allen McNeely of the Department of Labor and more. Dinner will be served at BRASA Steakhouse, one of Raleigh’s finest restaurants.

When: March 6, Tuesday, depart the Roanoke Valley at 9:30 a.m. return 9:30 p.m.
Why you should attend:

• Advocate your business needs and issues with N.C. legislators
• Become informed on the latest issues facing business and the State of N.C.
• Network with the Business Leaders of Roanoke Valley and legislators from across N.C.

Schedule: Depart 9:30 a.m. from Chamber parking lot. Conduct legislator visits until noon. At noon have lunch at the General Assembly dining room in Raleigh. Hear presentations from Insurance Commissioner Jim Long, Commissioner of Agriculture Steve Troxler, , and more from 2-4:30pm. Enjoy dinner at BRASA Steakhouse, one of Raleigh’s finest restaurants. Return home by 9:30pm
