1. Fridays in the park series hosts Cross Cutt on June 27 from 6:30-8:30pm in Centennial Park in Roanoke Rapids featuring the Main Street Cross Ties. Fridays in the Park are free to everyone so invite your entire company to join in the fun. Sponsors include AAA, Becker Self Storage/Rainco Corp., Betsey's Real Estate, Crowley's Lifestyle and Fitness, The Daily Herald, Farm Bureau Insurance - Roanoke Rapids, First Media, Halifax County Arts Council, Halifax County Tourism, Hoffman and Arthur, Lynch’s Office Supply, Lynch’s Signs & Graphics, Pope Funeral Home, ProVision Optometric Center, Roanoke Valley Savings Bank, Smith Church OB/GYN, and White Cadillac Chrysler Jeep Dodge. For more information on Fridays in the Park contact the Roanoke Valley Chamber at 252-537-3513. If there is inclement weather, the concert will be moved to Kirkwood Adams Community Center.

 

2. Images Magazine. Market your company to visitors, newcomers and locals. Ad sales for the Chamber's Images Magazine is currently underway. Please look for Joe Thomas to call. If you would like to advertise in the Images Magazine please call the Chamber at 252-537-3513 and ask for Joe.

 

3. Verification in process! The Chamber is calling every member to ensure our database is correct. This will be used to update the Chamber website and the Images magazine coming out in the fall. Expect a call over the next few weeks.
